Intro to R2 & Paddle Rafting

Service Description

Boat away from this class able to effectively communicate with your R2 partner or paddle crew, configure your boat for the type of water you're running, and self rescue after a flip. Learn different paddle strokes. Learn hydrology including river features and river hazards. Identify when and how to scout a rapid and set safety for your group. No experience or prerequisites required. Minimum age 16 with a guardian. One paddle raft with 6 seats is available for the group, or bring your own raft. This is not an outfitted event, instruction only. BYO transportation, boat, PFD and boating gear. Open to 16ft self bailing rafts, paddle cats and smaller. Cancelation Policy

If you must cancel your booking, please notify us as soon as possible. Please phone first, but we also need a written email notice containing the current date, the date and name of the booking you are cancelling, and your name and (electronic) signature. Cancellation notices received: -30 days or more before your class or course are eligible for a full refund. -8 to 29 days before your class, 50% refund of your deposit or transfer/deferral of your deposit in full to a different class. -7 days or less before a class or course will not be refunded, but the class or course deposit may be transferred towards a future class or course. -No shows will not be eligible for a refund or transfer.
